Stage 1 La Fouly – cabane de la tsissette
The morning hike leads us to the Basset pass… nearly 1200 m of ascent! Chamois, ibexes and marmots make us forget the effort and the panorama amazes us… From here, a beautiful descent awaits us to the Tsissette hut.

Stage 2 cabane de la tsissette – Mille hut
Beautiful descent in the heart of the natural reserve of La Combe de L’A which allows us to reach the village of Liddes. The ascent from Liddes to the Mille hut at 2450m of altitude is short but arduous…A hut located at the pass between the Val de Bagnes and the Saint-Bernard valleys, at the foot of the Petit Combin and facing the most beautiful alpine massifs; the breathtaking panorama will make you forget the effort!

Stage 3 Mille hut – Bourg-St-Pierre
Will you be bold and ambitious enough to climb Mont Rogneux at 3082m. If you don’t want to climb the summit, you can take the path that leads to Bourg-Saint-Pierre through the Entremont mountain pastures. From the alpine pasture of Boveire, we descend through the forest to the village where we finish this trek.

Stage 4 Bourg-St-Pierre – Col du Grand-St-Bernard
From the heart of the last Swiss village up the Saint-Bernard valley, we take the old road leading to the Toules dam. Just below the La Lettaz mountain pasture, we walk along the lake and then start the climb to the La Pierre mountain pasture. The climb becomes steeper to reach the Combe de Drône and the Col des Chevaux. A nice crossing allows us to reach the Grand Saint-Bernard hospice at 2472m.

Stage 5 Col du Grand-St-Bernard – La Fouly
From the Grand-Saint-Bernard pass, go down the path on the Italian side to the Baou mountain pasture, then turn right uphill to the Fenêtre de Ferret where you cross back into Switzerland with a breathtaking panorama. Go down between the Fenêtre lakes and then reach the Plan de la Chaux mountain pasture. You go down the Val Ferret to the north by the alpage of Ars then the hamlet of Ferret. At the entrance of the village, take the path on the left and continue on the left bank of the “Dranse” before crossing it again and finishing the stage on the cantonal road to La Fouly.
