A gravel climb on forest roads with a 95% gravel route. No paths, only roads for an intense gravel pleasure. A nice climb of 1234m, so you need to have the right equipment with 34-36 teeth at the back (on a double chainring). The view at the top is magnificent on several valleys, the surrounding peaks.

Directions
From the station, quickly join the path that passes under the international road, on the itinerary to the village of Commeire. It is also possible to go up to this village by the road. From the last bend before the village of Commeire, follow the forest road that will take you to the top. Several descents are possible from the top, either by continuing in the direction of Liddes, or by going up the granary of Moay and going down to Bruson, Val de Bagnes.
Getting there
Exit the highway in Martigny at the 22-Gd-St-Bernard interchange. Take the right lane to follow the E27 road towards Chamonix/Gd-St-Bernard/Verbier/Martigny-Expo. At the exit of the Martigny bypass tunnel, take the direction of Gd-St-Bernard/Italie, then exit the main road at Orsières by turning right.
Free parking is available in the vicinity of the station (white zones)
Access by public transport
From Martigny (track 50), take the train to Sembrancher, then Orsières.
