La Kabana" refreshment bar: a new sweet spot in Val Ferret
A simple place, where the key words are “warm welcome”, “greed” and “authenticity”. Located in the Val Ferret, on the Saleinaz plateau, La Kabana will soon become the place to be for a stopover during a walk in the Val Ferret or during the “La Fouly – Champex-Lac” stage of the famous Tour du Mont-Blanc.
It is with great enthusiasm that Lola Charteris will begin a new adventure with the opening of the refreshment bar “La Kabana” in the summer of 2021. Passionate about cooking and nature, it was only natural for her to offer her snack and drink menu on the Saleinaz plateau, a bucolic place next to the forest and facing the emblematic Petit Clocher du Portalet.
A strategic location
In addition to the idyllic setting formed by the forest and the surrounding mountains, La Kabana has an additional advantage in terms of its location. Indeed, the bar is located on the path of the Tour du Mont-Blanc, which sees more than 60’000 hikers passing by every year. If some people were tempted to take public transport to shorten their day’s journey, the opening of La Kabana will make them change their mind: the few extra kilometers will be quickly forgotten when tasting the products prepared with love at La Kabana.
Quality products
The menu at La Kabana will evolve throughout the summer. Indeed, Lola Charteris will make a point of using local and seasonal products. Apple, pear, apricot or prune pie, all kinds of cakes, and especially her specialty, sweet and savory crepes filled with local products, quality products: you will have to come more than once to discover all the dishes offered, each more succulent than the other!

The first season of La Kabana will begin with its opening on June 12, 2021. Every day until mid-September, Lola, her husband and sons will welcome you from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.
