The Maison de la Santé du Grand Entremont was born from the joint reflection of doctors and authorities of Entremont to respond to the announced medical shortage and for a better efficiency of care.
The doctors already installed in the district joined forces in 2016 on a single, central site in Sembrancher. Since then, several young doctors have already joined them and specialists (pediatricians, neurologists, surgeons…) regularly come to consult in Sembrancher. The training of the next generation of doctors is also a priority objective and we have already welcomed in our center several apprentice medical assistants and doctors at the end of their training.
In Sembrancher, we also benefit from the fact that the Entremont medical-social service and many para-medical actors are grouped on the same site.
The Maison de la Santé is at the disposal of all residents of the Greater Entremont area and of its visiting guests to help them solve their health problems: an important challenge in this period of shortage of primary care physicians.
