Directions
From the Pallazuit water reservoir, first take the road that runs along the Dranse river then the path on the right which goes up to the Niord mountain pasture, an enclave of the commune Liddes. In the curve under the pasture, take the path on the left which leads to the road coming from Bourg-Saint-Pierre.
Continue on this road to the Champlong-Dessous pasture, taking the path that cuts the various bends if you wish. At the pasture, take the path to the right which leads to the Gîte.
For the descent, take the path north of the gîte to reach the chalets de la Niord. Follow the road to the bottom of the Niord then the path taken for the climb or if you wish the road, longer but less steep.
Getting there
Leave the highway at Martigny.
Follow the direction Grand-Saint-Bernard and continue to Boutg-St-Pierre.
Free parking near the Toules dam.
Take the train to Orsières then the bus to Bourg-St-Pierre.
