Beautiful trail going around Champex, its chalets and lake.
This long trail can be done in several sections and allows you to discover Champex-Lac, its resort, its environment and its panoramic views from several vantage points. The trail will help you understand why Champex-Lac is nicknamed “Switzerland’s Little Canada”.

You can drink and eat at the Hotel du Belvédère with its beautiful setting and panoramic view of the Combins massif.

Directions
The trail starts near the Belvedere Hotel (park your car on the Forts square). Take the trail in front of the Belvedere Hotel on the path «Emile Lovey.» It passes over the station and then down to the ski facilities, continues towards the lake to the garage, then back to the starting point.
Getting there
Exit the motorway at Martigny.
Follow the direction Grand-Saint-Bernard then leave the main road at Orsières and follow Champex-Lac.
It is also possible to leave the main road at Bovernier and go through Les Valettes but the road is narrower and winding.
Free parking by the lake
Take the train to Orsières and then the bus to Champex-lac.
