Start the walk by visiting the Flore-Alpe Botanical Garden which is close to the start of the walk !
Directions
Departure from the chairlift car park, go back down towards the campsite by road. Take the road on the left before the camping des Rocailles. The path starts 3 bends higher on the left. It makes a loop towards Champex d’en Bas, Champex d’en Haut and back to the starting point.
Getting there
Leave the motorway at Martigny.
Follow the direction Grand-Saint-Bernard then leave the main road at Orsières and follow “Champex-Lac”.
It is also possible to leave the main road at Bovernier and go through Les Valettes but the road is narrow and very winding.
You can park for free at the bottom of the chairlift.
Take the train to Orsières and then the bus to Champex-télé.
