The walk can be extended by taking the upper part of the “Belvedere” path : exceptional panoramic view of the Champex-Lac resort !
Directions
Take advantage of this pleasant family walk which starts south-east of the village of Champex-Lac at the place called “Le Signal”. The trail is decorated with educational panels on the theme of the forest and stagecoaches, and combines sports and discovery. The view over the valley and the village of Orsières alone is worth the detour.
Getting there
Leave the highway at Martigny.
Follow the direction Grand-Saint-Bernard to Somlaproz then turn right at the crossroads with the indication “Champex-Lac”.
Then follow the main road.
Free parking places by the lake
Take the train to Orsières and then the bus to Champex.
