Didactic path through the forests of La Fouly. About 1 hour.
The Sentier des Plantes Médicinales invites walkers to get to know local flora and its benefits and winds along a pleasant path around the A Neuve Valley. All along the same path, smaller guests will be able to follow Charlotte the Marmotte who will invite them to experiment, test and observe the natural and historical wealth of the region throughout the walk.

When you pick up the leaflet at the tourist office, ask for the “Charlotte Passport”: when you have completed 4 “Charlotte the Woodchuck” trails, you will be given a gift!
Directions
This trail, specially designed for children, gives you the opportunity to walk in Charlotte’s footsteps, to discover the history of the little resort, its natural curiosities, its wildlife, through questions asked along the way.
Before the departure
Below you will find a map, a profile and technical information. You can park your car on the square in front of the Auberge des Glaciers or the tourist office. To take part in this trail, you just have to go to the tourist office of La Fouly at the bottom of the chairlift to get the leaflet with Charlotte’s story, the map of the trail and the questions. There is an answering post at the end of the trail, near the playground.
On the trail
The path is marked with signposts and forms a loop. It starts on the right-hand side at the crossroads in front of the tourist office, then crosses the river Dranse de Ferret and goes left just after the bridge. It then makes a loop on the A Neuve plateau before going back down through the forest to reach the playground.
After the arrival
Take advantage of the area to walk along the path suspended in the trees: another fun activity that will perfectly complete your excursion to La Fouly! More information on www.sentier-suspendu.ch.

Getting there
Leave the motorway at “Martigny”.
Follow the direction “Grand-Saint-Bernard” then leave the main road at “Orsières” and follow “La Fouly”.
You can park in front of the Grand-Hotel du Val Ferret at the entrance to the resort (close to the trailhead) or at the trailhead opposite the Auberge des Glaciers or the tourist office.
Parking is free.
Take the train to Orsières and then the bus to La Fouly.
