Discovery day on wild bees
A day dedicated to wild bees
An educational, interactive and gourmet event for the whole family will take place at the Centre de compétences en apiculture in Vollèges and the round table in Sembrancher.
9:00 am Doors open.
9.30am – 11.45am Build your own bee house and get your children involved.
Creative construction workshop and leave with your own shelter. 2 groups limited to 30 participants
12:00 – 13:30 Lunch (registration required)

Afternoon program :
1:30 pm Welcome at Sembrancher village hall.
Children looked after by qualified guides.
2:00 pm – 3:30 pm Presentations by various speakers and questions from the audience
1) Presentation on Swiss forest management by Jean-Baptiste Moulin
2) Presentation of the Association Les sentiers des Savoirs by Loïc Maret
3) Presentation of visions in beekeeping by (awaiting confirmation)
4) What the Parval study “Study of pesticide exposure in Valais children” doesn’t say, by Léonard Dorsaz
3:30 pm – 5 pm: Round table on pesticide registration in Switzerland

* People who do not wish to attend the lectures and debates have free access to the CCA garden, as well as to the walks.
**A children’s activity will be organized if parents wish to attend the afternoon lectures.
