Summer hiking with dogs
During July and August, we offer sporting hikes in small private groups on the heights of the Hospice, in the heart of an exceptional panorama at 2400 m altitude. Discover the region of the Grand-St-Bernard pass in the company of the mythical Saint-Bernard dogs for a privileged and authentic experience.
Activity details :
⚠️ This is a demanding mountain hike requiring good physical condition. The activity is accessible to children aged 8 and over. Younger children are not allowed to participate, even in baby carriers, for reasons of safety and responsibility.
⚠️ It is compulsory to wear walking shoes with a good profile and to bring with you clothing suitable for all weather conditions.
Walking time: 1h30 to 2h
Distance: 2.5 km for 205m D+ and D- (vertical drops)
Participants : Private group with a maximum capacity of 8 people.
Dogs: You will be accompanied by 2-3 St. Bernards, which you can take turns keeping on a leash. Private dogs are not permitted.
Weather: Tours take place in all weathers. In the event of bad weather, we adapt the experience accordingly (modified route or special time with the dogs in a sheltered, dry place).
Departure times 10.20 a.m. and/or 1.50 p.m. every day except Monday and Thursday.
