Un havre de paix à 1400 M

Liddes-Vichères

We are offering for rent a 90 m2 flat on the 1st floor with all modern comforts. At an altitude of 1400 metres, on the route du Grand-St-Bernard, with a breathtaking view of the Catogne.

The house

The house was built in 1869, with a stable in the basement, a hay barn on the ground floor and the coachmen’s rooms on the 1st floor.

In 1932, the 1st floor became the ballroom of the Hôtel d’Angleterre, which was linked by a footbridge.

The Rosset family bought the building in 1982 and the first works began, completed in 1986.

The second renovation, in the spirit of 1869, carried out by the Fabrice Franzetti office in Martigny, began in March 2021 and was completed in June 2022.

It was masterfully crafted by local artisans.

The house has underfloor heating on all three floors, powered by a heat pump.

Part of the electricity is supplied by solar panels installed on the roof.
