Very nice loop in the forest of the Saleinaz valley
The path first crosses the charming historic village of Praz-de-Fort before passing between “Le Chanton” and Saleinaz with their wooden chalets. It then continues into the forest on the left bank of the Reuse de Saleinaz, a very peaceful setting, ideal for a quiet hike.

You can eat before or after the route at the Portalet café-restaurant, 20 meters from the start and the bus stop.
Directions
The start is located in the center of the village of Praz-de-Fort, in front of the bus stop.
Head towards Chanton then Saleinaz. The snowshoe trail makes a loop in this magnificent forest. Then return the same way through the village of Praz-de-Fort to reach the bus stop.
Getting there
Exit the highway at Martigny.
Follow the direction Grand-Saint-Bernard then exit the main road at Orsières and follow La Fouly to Saleinaz.
Take the train to Orsières then the bus to Saleinaz.
