N.7 – Combe de l’A

Liddes-Vichères

Nice loop with a slight incursion into the Combe de l'A

The path first descends towards the hamlet of Dranse before climbing the ridge and looping around at the entrance to the famous Combe de l’A nature reserve. The path then passes through the hamlet of Vichères.

Directions

Go down to the village of Dranse (north side), then go up through the village at the restaurant, direction “Chez Petit”.

Follow the path that leaves the hamlet and continue to the “Roc de Cornet”.

There, take the left fork which goes up in the forest. Make the loop in Vichères and go down to “Palazuit”.

Getting there

Exit the motorway at Martigny.

Follow the direction Grand-Saint-Bernard to Liddes.

Parking spaces are free of charge

Take the train to Orsières and then the bus to Liddes.
