The view of Vélan and the entire Mont Blanc Massif is definitely worth spending the afternoon at the hut. The food at the hut can only be recommended, especially the vegetarian options. A better solution could be found for the toilet.
The view of Vèlan and the entire Mont Blanc Massif makes staying an afternoon at the mountain hut well worth it. While one can highly reccomend the hut’s food, especially the vegetarian options, there could be a better solution for the toilet.
Directions
First ascend the slopes directly from the village until you reach the normal route to the hut. Follow this until you reach the hut. Then turn left through a short gorge and then up the mostly sunny slope in hairpin bends to the hut.
