Garden Vigil

the forests of the future

Once a month, in the heart of the garden, meet enthusiasts to discuss a theme and share knowledge.

In July, we’ll be taking a look at the forests of today and tomorrow. In the company of Karim Pellouchoud, forest ranger for the Commune of Orsières, and Christophe Randin, biogeographer and director of the garden, discover the secrets of our forests.

What tree species grow in the region’s forests today? And what about tomorrow? What will they look like? Can the management of today’s forest influence its future?

We’ll also look at the new Val d’Arpette forest reserve.

Friday, July 26, 6 pm to 7:30 pm

Free and without registration.

Public: adults and children aged 12 and over.
